Marrakech, Morocco (Pt.2)

We stopped by the restaurant where they filmed scenes from Alfred Hitchcock's film, "The Man WHo Knew Too Much".

Here I am next to a giant Moroccan slipper... (I saw an even bigger one in the Souks later that day)

We walked through the center square. Daytime is so different than nighttime here. We saw snake charmers (from a distance) and guys with monkeys, ladies giving henna tattoos, fortune tellers and magicians.

We made a stop at a riad that has been turned into a cafe. It was beautiful. The mint tea was excellent and a perfect break from the chaos found in the streets...
Inside the cafe...
So relaxing....great weather too...

This is a beautiful piece of art by a local painter...

Families bring their dough each day to be baked at the local bakery.
Each marked with a distinctive marking so they know which is theirs. The bread has a hard crust on the outside with a sourdough like texture on the inside. Delicious!
